Zelda Flint Naylor, age 81, was born in Davie County on May 2, 1935, and went to be with the Lord on May, 29, 2016. She was the daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Lindsey and Zelma Flint. She was educated in Davie County Schools, and graduated from Davie County Training School in 1953. Throughout her life, she worked in several manufacturing companies. She married Donald Lee Naylor and to this union four sons were born, Donald Keith, Tyrone Kevin, James Kelly, and Milton Karl Naylor. She was a member of Fairfield Missionary Baptist Church and was an active choir member and usher. Zelda enjoyed crocheting, watching cooking shows, and reading morning devotions. She was preceded in death by her parents, Lindsey and Zelma Flint; two sisters, Willie Mae Smoot and Mildred Blackwell; and one grandson, Nicholas 'Nick' Naylor. She is survived by her children, Donald Keith, Tyrone Kevin (Selina), James Kelly (Angela) and Milton Karl Naylor; four sisters, Addie Bell (Elvie), Geneva Foote, Betty Frost and Rachel Carson; 10 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren; a host of nieces, nephews and cousins.
