Tommy Eugene Cope, 72, Formerly of Mocksville, passed away Thursday, October 23, 2025, at Novant Health Forsyth Medical Center in Winston-Salem.

He was born October 25, 1952, in Rowan County.

He was preceded in death by his father, Charlie Wallace Cope; his mother, Evalina Spry Cope Campbell; stepfather, Avis Campbell; his first wife, Sandy Carter Cope; and his second wife, Linda Wilson Cope.

Survivors include his stepmother, Virginia B. Cope; three children; siblings, Roger Cope (Joy) of Greenville, Charles Cope (Carolyn) of Lexington, Vickie Smith (Danny) of Mocksville, Kathy Morris of Mt. Airy, and Angie Holden of Calabash; numerous grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

A private service will be held at a later date.
