Mrs. Tommie Ann Shoemaker Ross, 85, of Harmony, died Thursday, November 2, 2023, at Bermuda Village Skilled Care in Bermuda Run.

She was born January 2, 1938, in Iredell County to the late J. N. and Mary Lee Shoemaker.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Fred M. Ross; a sister, Peggy S. Loyd; and a son-in-law, Andy N. Cooke.

Survivors include a sister, Carolyn S. Anderson (Donald); stepdaughter, Paula R. Cooke; niece, Meredith Anderson Hankins (Adam), and their sons, Colt and Luke Hankins; and her daily caregiver, Isobel Healey.

A funeral service will be conducted at 11 a.m., Saturday, November 4, at Clarksbury Church, with Rev. Charles Curtis officiating.  The body will be placed in the church 30 minutes prior to the service.  The service will be available to view on the funeral home website. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. The family invites friends to visit with them in the fellowship hall following the interment.
