Tod Garner Ellis, 55, of Mocksville, passed away on May 31, 2026, after a brief illness.

Born on October 12, 1970, Tod was a beloved son, father, grandfather, brother, and uncle. He will be remembered for the impact he made in the lives of those who knew and loved him.

Tod is survived by his parents, Carroll Kisner and Kenny Ellis, Sr.; sons, Tyler Ellis (Shawna), Tim Ellis (Crystal), and Tom Ellis; daughter, Trisha Warren (Jeremy); granddaughters, Sydni Ellis and Lexi Warren; grandson, Ashton Warren; brother, Kenny Ellis, Jr. (Kelly Mapel); sister, Donna Beamon (Kenny); and niece, Savannah Shepherd (Austin).

He was preceded in death by his wife, Joy.

Tod previously held jobs in construction. His presence will be deeply missed, but his memory will live on in the hearts of his family and all who knew him. His faith in Jesus was strong and we know he is in a better place.

No formal services will be held.
