Timothy Ray Polk, was born June 19, 1966 in Rowan County, son of the late Boyd and Annie Marie Thompson Polk. He was educated in Rowan County Schools, and was an automotive mechanic. He loved to spend time with his grandchildren and attend sports events with them. He also loved drag racing and attended the races. He was self-employed as a truck driver and also worked at Boss Construction Company. On April 14, 2018 he died in Glenn Kiser Hospice Home in Salisbury, NC, following a period of illness. Lovingly, he is survived by four sons, Larry White, Jason Dulin, Terrence Polk, and Connor Hood; three daughters, Julia Dulin, Kenyatta Goodson, and Cynara Allison; two brothers, Boyd Polk, Jr., and Johnny Jackson; four sisters, Lori Polk, Penny (Ray) Jackson, Shelia (John) Arnold, and Sharon (Stephon) Peoples; fifteen grandchildren; two special moms, Chessie Smith and Rosa Lee Arnold; two special sisters, Jamie Smith and Dina Plummer; a special friend of the family; Katherine White; a number of other relatives and friends.
