Obituary

Thomas "Tommy" Lee Keaton, 72, of Mocksville, passed away peacefully on February 9, 2026, at his son's residence.

He was born on July 1, 1953, in Salisbury, to the late Wiley Monroe and Floy Louise Robbins Keaton. Tommy spent most of his life working as an automobile mechanic, dedicating his skills to the care and repair of others' vehicles. In his free time, he enjoyed fishing, racing, and restoring older automobiles. He was of the Baptist faith.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by brothers, Wiley "Buddy" Jr. and Gary "Punk" Keaton.

Survivors include his son, Jason Keaton (Amanda); grandsons, Grayson and Connor Keaton; sisters, Carolyn Hoots and Betty Furr (Paul); four nieces and nephews; along with two special friends, Doug York (Teresa) and Avery Brown (Kayla).

The family invites friends to visit with them 6 to 8 p.m., Thursday, February 12, at Lambert Funeral Home. Tommy will be laid to rest in Courtney Baptist Church Cemetery at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials be considered for SECU Hospice Care Center of Yadkinville, 243 N Lee Avenue, Yadkinville, NC 27055.
