Mr. Thomas Ronald Dixon, 76, of Mocksville, died Thursday, March 5, 2020, at Davie Nursing Rehab. He was born September 16, 1943, in Forsyth County to the late Thomas Ford and Marjorie Cranfill Dixon. Ronald worked at Hayworth-Miller Funeral Home for 10 years. He later went to work at Eaton Funeral Service and retired after 36 years. Ronald had a love for music and shared his love for music by playing piano and the organ at various churches throughout Yadkin, Davie and Forsyth Counties. Survivors including friend, Michael Poteat of Mocksville; three siblings, Janice Hess (David), Wayne Dixon (Betty) and Marjetta Shores (Tony), all of Yadkinville; and numerous nieces and nephews. A funeral service will be conducted at 2:00 p.m., Sunday, March 8, at Lambert Graham Funeral Home Chapel with Mr. Wayne Dixon officiating. Interment will follow in Harmony Grove Cemetery in Yadkinville. The family will receive friends at the funeral home one hour prior to the service.
