Terry Flint Smoot, 57, was born on November 11, 1959, son of Conard Smoot and the late Willie Mae Flint Smoot. He departed this life on October 26, 2016, at Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center in Winston-Salem, NC. Terry attended Davie County Public Schools and was a member of Mocksville Second Presbyterian Church. He was a very big hearted, friendly person, who would do anything he could to help someone. All you had to do was call him, and he would quickly respond. He worked well with his hands, and was gifted to do just about anything. Terry was preceded in death by loving relatives that included three aunts, Mildred Blackwelder, Zelda Naylor, and Clara Crawford; one uncle, Walter Smoot; two sets of grandparents, Lindsay and Zelma Flint, and Walter and Bertha Cain Smoot. His family has precious and loving memories of his life. Relatives include his father, Conard Smoot; one brother, Lindsay Conard Smoot; two sisters, Linda Faye (Kenneth) Brown, and Rita Smoot; one niece, Lynisha Smoot; one nephew, Adonis Smoot; three aunts, Addie (Elvie) Bell, Lula Foote, and Betty Frost; a host of cousins, other relatives, and friends.
