Sharon Lynn Nelson Wells, 75, of Hamptonville, passed away peacefully Thursday, June 26, 2025, at her home.

She was born December 20, 1949, in Surry County, to the late Ellis Reid and Mary Ruth Bullington Nelson.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her daughter, Ashley Elizabeth Tucker; and two brothers, Barry Nelson, and Don Nelson.

Survivors include her husband, Larry Gray Wells; sons, Michael "Mickey" Vogler (Melissa), and Larry Grayson Wells; two stepchildren, Tony Gray Wells, and Lisa Lovelace (Bill); a sister, Kaye Bowman; eight grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.

A private graveside service will be held at a later date.
