Dennis Clay Reynolds, was born on November 20, 1954, in Salisbury, NC. He attended Davie County High School. He enlisted in the United States Army in 1976. He traveled the world extensively and proudly served over twenty years and received an honorable discharge. Retired Sgt. 1st Class Dennis C. Reynolds, during his decorated career, was bestowed with several medals, badges, and recognitions, which included Army Commendation Medal, Army Achievement Medal (4th Award), Army Good Conduct (5th Award); National Defense Service Medal; Noncommissioned Officer's Professional Development Ribbon with Numeral 3; Army Service Ribbon; Overseas Service Ribbon 4th Award; Marksman Marksmanship Qualification Badge with Rifle Bar; Driver and Mechanic Badge. After retirement, he attended the University City College of Chicago in 1991, and received an Associate Applied Science Degree in Business Management. He also attended Colorado Technical University and received a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration in April 2013. Dennis always rushed his wife to get ready for church so that he would not be late for praise and worship. He would always say, 'Hurry up Joann; I can't be late for praise and worship!' Dennis was preceded in death by his parents, Robert J. and Sadie Catherine Revels Reynolds; his twin brother, Donald Gray Reynolds; and brothers, George Reynolds and Billy Ray Reynolds. He leaves to cherish his loving memory his beloved and devoted wife of forty-one years, M. Joann of Copperas Cove, TX; two children, Tamika L. Reynolds of Killeen, TX and Dennis T. Reynolds of Dallas, TX; seven siblings, LeRoy Reynolds of Philadelphia, PA, Fern (Kevin) McCurdy of Mocksville, NC, Gail (Leon) Martin of Elkin, NC, Gaynell (William) Webb of Sickerville, NJ, Retha Reynolds of Mocksville, NC, Wayne (Pam) Reynolds of Advance, NC, and Sandra (Chris) Parks of Sickerville, NJ; his mother-in-law, Blanche Spicer of the home; a sister-in-law, Diane Spicer of the home; one uncle, Otis (Coredila) Revels of San Bernado, CA; a host of other relatives and friends.
