Miss Sara Camilla "Big Cam" James, 89, of Mocksville, died June 22, 2024, at Somerset Court of Mocksville.

She was born on July 20, 1934, in Davie County, to the late Clarence Bruce and Laura Grace "Sally" Sheek James. Cami was a member of Smith Grove Church.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by siblings, Clarence James, Jr., George James, Henry "Chester" James, Mary Nell Holman, Jimmy Sheek James, Francis "Duke" James, and Bailey James.

She is survived by a brother, William "Ikey" James; sister-in-law, Wanda James, and nieces and nephews of whom she thought of as her grandchildren.

Thanks to the staff at Somerset Court for the care and love shown to Cami during her stay there.
