Sandra Faye Troutt Smith, 75, of Advance, passed away Friday, September 3, 2021, at Atrium Health Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center in Winston-Salem. She was born March 2, 1946, in Forsyth County, to the late Paul Alfred and Margaret Butner Troutt. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Michael Troutt; and her husband, Earnest Alfred Smith, Sr. Survivors include a sister, Kathy Foster (Keith); a brother, Steve Troutt; two sons, Earnest A. Smith, Jr. (Sheila) and Todd Smith (Jaimie); seven grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
