Sandra “Sandy” Kay Leake Riley, 68, of Advance, our sweet angel went to her heavenly home on Friday, July 24, 2026.

Sandy was born March 27, 1958, in Forsyth County, the daughter of Clara Virginia Sain Leake and the late Harry Eugene Leake, Sr.

Sandy loved to spend time with family, whether visiting with her mom; taking trips with her children, grandchildren, and niece; or tending to her homestead with Gary and her dogs. Her love and compassion for family was always present. Sandy recently retired from LeBleu water where she worked for 24 years. To know Sandy was to love her and she was always willing to help everyone. Sandy was loved and cherished by all.

In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by her sisters, Karen Renae Kirkman, and Kathy Jean Leake.

Survivors include her husband, Gary Lester Riley of 34 years; her son, Donald Jester, Jr. “DJ” (Jesselynn); her mother, Virginia Sain Leake; her brother, Harry Leake, Jr. (Johnnie); a special niece, Celeste Miner (William); a nephew, Gary Leake (Nat); and a loving grandmother to, Walker Ray Jester, and Rayelynn Kay Jester.

A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, July 29, 2026, at 11 a.m. at Elbaville Church Cemetery.
