Samuel Joseph Pearcy, 52, of Mocksville,  died Thursday, October 30, 2025, at Novant Health Forsyth Medical Center, in Winston-Salem.

He was born November 28, 1972, in Bluefield, WV. Samuel found joy in tending his garden, where he especially loved growing tomatoes, pumpkins, squash, and peppers.

He was preceded in death by his father, Jerry Lee Pearcy, Sr.; a brother; and a sister-in-law, Wendy Pearcy.

He is survived by his mother, Jula Gay Woods Jennings; a sister, Lena Reinsvold (Roger); and two brothers, Jerry Lee Pearcy, Jr. (Catherine), and Jonathan Thurbert Pearcy.

A time of gathering will be from 5 to 7 p.m., Saturday, November 8, at Lambert Funeral Home.
