Mrs. Sadie Hendon Thompson, of Mocksville, 82, died Sunday, April 7, 2024, at her home.

She was born May 12, 1941 in Selma, AL to the late John Franklin, Sr. and Sadie Hall Taylor Hendon.

Survivors include her husband, Jimmy Taylor Thompson, Sr.; children, Jimmy Taylor Thompson, Jr. (Benita) and Rhonda Gail Robertson (Brent); brother, John Hendon; grandchildren, Allen, Nicoha, Stacy, and Stephanie; and three greatgrandchildren.

A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m., Friday, April 12, 2024, at Lambert Funeral Chapel, with Dr. David Gilbreath officiating.
