Mr. Russell Robert Sanford, 63, of Mocksville, died Thursday, June 29, 2023, at his home.

He was born January 27, 1960, in San Bernardino County, CA, to the late Allen Mack and Doris Joann Deam Sanford. Mr. Sanford was a master of all trades and enjoyed working on the farm. He loved his family and loved to fish. He will truly be missed by all.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by special friend, Becky Anne Lipke Ruiz; and a brother, Steve Sanford.

Survivors include children, Jim Michael Sanford, Gary Russell Sanford, and Randi Rachel Sanford; siblings, Rick Sanford, Chris Sanford, Kenneth Sanford, Tom Sanford, and Jennifer Delatore; grandchildren, Mikey Gibson, Levi Sanford, Tommy Lee Sanford, Savannah Sanford, Breeze Parker, Izaak and Jacob Woerz, and one on the way, Gary Erich Sanford; great-grandchildren, Myles Xavier Parker, and one on the way; and lots of nieces and nephews.
