Ronald "Moony" Eugene Gaither, 71, of Mocksville, died Tuesday, July 29, 2025, at his home.

He was born February 9, 1954, in Rowan County, to the late Kelly Lee and Ruth Elizabeth Chaffin Gaither.

Survivors include his daughters, Rhonda Marter (Luke), and Jennifer Gaither; siblings, Brenda Crowe (Phil), Curtis Gaither (Retha), and Kathy Gaither; five grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
