Ronald Eugene Keister, 83, of Winston-Salem, formerly of Mocksville, died Friday, October 10, 2025, at Kate B. Reynolds Hospice Home in Winston-Salem.

He was born on December 9, 1941, in Pulaski County, VA, to the late Harmon Noblin and Bessie Irene Vann Keister. Ron was a veteran of the U.S. Army.

Survivors include his wife, Carolyn Sue Doyle Keister; daughters, Kelly Keister Svihovec (Brian), and Amy Keister Rich (Joe); sisters-in-law, Martha Bowers (Bill), Pat Moser (David), and Jean Doyle; brother-in-law, Mike Doyle (Joan); grandchildren, Brayden Svihovec, Ashton Svihovec, Riley Svihovec, Colt Rich, and Cheyenne Rich; and several nieces and nephews
