Mr. Robert Junior "Whitey" Tutterow, 73, of Mocksville, died Saturday, December 23, 2023, at Novant Health Forsyth Medical Center in Winston-Salem.

He was born February 20, 1950, in Davie County, to the late Robert Clarence and Hazel Victoria Couch Tutterow. Whitey was a member of Edgewood Baptist Church. He had been employed by Jockey International Distribution Center. Whitey loved to deer hunt and fish. His grandchildren were his pride and joy.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother-in-law, David Harris.

Survivors include his wife, Bobbie Faye Munday Tutterow; sons, Derrick Tutterow (Sheree) of Mocksville and Brad Tutterow (Priscilla) of King; siblings, Larry Gene Tutterow (Linda) of Mocksville, Carolyn Price (Woody) of Advance, and Patsy Harris of Mocksville; grandchildren, Blaine Tutterow, Emma Beck, Hunter Tutterow, and Holden Tutterow; and many nieces and nephews.

A funeral service will be conducted at 12 p.m., Wednesday, December 27, at Edgewood Baptist Church, with Rev. Frank Blankenship officiating. The family invites friends to visit with them at the church one hour prior to the service.
