Robert Scott, age 74, was born in Davie County, son of the late Junior Lee and Estella Reid Scott. He attended Davie County Schools, and worked as a machine operator at Sara Lee Knit Products for over thirty years. He was a member of Capernaum Church of Christ in Clemmons, NC. Robert's hobbies were fishing, and sports. He had been in declining health for several years, and died March 31st, 2019 in Gordon Hospice Home in Statesville, NC. He was preceded in death by one brother, William Bo Scott; four sisters, Stella Campbell, Mary Rucker, Karen Scott, and Ethel Pruitt. He is survived by his wife, Margaret Smith Scott of the home; three sons, Brandon Scott, Kristoffer D. Latten, and Johnny Scott; one step-son, Leroy Tilley; two brothers-in-law, Donnie Smith and Billy Smith; two sisters, Ann McMiller and Carolyn Williams; several grandchildren; other relatives. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, April 6th at 2:00 PM at Graham Funeral Home in Mocksville. The family will receive friends thirty minutes before the service.
