Robert Dean Salmons, 76, of Mocksville, died Wednesday, November 5, 2025, at Novant Health Forsyth Medical Center in Winston-Salem.

He was born June 13, 1949, in Iredell County, to the late Robert Clay and Nora Mae Goforth Salmons.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his first wife, Lana Salmons; and a sister, Edith Methot.

He is survived by his wife, Elizabeth Anne Salmons; a daughter, Tresa Mischelle Meyst (Robert); a sister, Dorothy Wright; and a grandson, Thomas Rich Salmons.

A funeral service will be conducted at 2 p.m., Saturday, November 15, at Lambert Funeral Chapel, with Mrs. Sue Couch officiating. Interment will follow in the Believers Sonship Tabernacle Cemetery, Mocksville.

The family invites friends to visit with them one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
