On October 7, 2026, Robert Guy Murray passed away quietly in his Mocksville home surrounded by family.

He is survived by wife, Jacquelyn Murray; daughters, Shannon Henry (Will J.) and Stephanie Cornatzer (Jason); son, Lee Carre (Kat); and five grandchildren.

Born April 7, 1943, Bob grew up in Norfolk, VA and had many friends in the greater Hampton Roads area. He and Jackie loved boating and the years they spent living aboard, and later, RVing and hanging out with friends old and new. Bob was a one-of-a-kind, irreplaceable man. He was patient, kind, loving and funny. He will be missed and forever loved by those he held dear.
