Robert Wayne Harp, 78, of Mocksville, went to be with His Lord and Savior Thursday, October 23, 2025, at Novant Health Forsyth Medical Center in Winston-Salem.

He was born May 1, 1947, in Forsyth County, to the late Robert Orestus and Ezlee Faye Winters Harp.

Wayne had a passion for making life beautiful, loved antiques, loved reading, and loved living life big, you knew when he walked in a room. His students often called him "Harp." Wayne enjoyed being outside if it was planting his flowers or gardening, he also enjoyed decorating the house for every holiday especially Christmas. Wayne now is with His Lord and Savior.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his twin sister, Ezlee Elaine Harp; and two sisters, Barbara J. Shields, and Rebecca Frye.

Those left to cherish his memory lifetime partner, Tony Daniels; his second mother, Nancy Daniels; a sister, Margie H. Forrest; four nieces, Moyra Gunter, Ferlin Frye, Sherry Brimmer, and Elaine O'Shields, and his seven fury baby kittens.

A service will be held at a later date.
