Mr. Ricky Lynn Higgins, 64, of Harmony, died Friday, June 23, 2023, at Gordon Hospice House in Statesville.

He was born May 29, 1959, in Cheverly, Maryland, to the late Donald Key and Reba Dale Clewly Higgins. Mr. Higgins had retired from Tyson Foods in Harmony after 30 years of employment. He had a love of food, fishing, going to yard sales, and Goodwill. However, he especially loved spending time with his grandchildren.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by brothers, Larry Higgins and Wayne Higgins; sister-in-law, Linda Higgins; and half-brother, Edward Higgins.

Survivors include daughters, Christina Jennings (Brandon) of Harmony, Jennifer Moore (Benije Ray) of Mocksville, and Candice Higgins (Maricela) of Rural Hall; siblings, Judy Wagoner of Nebraska, David Higgins of Union Grove, Mona Higgins-Oakes of Maryland, and Amy Ipson of Mt. Airy; sister-in-law, Brenda Higgins of Union Grove; grandchildren, Alex Higgins, Dakota Anderson, Chloe Allen, McKenzie Jennings, Elysijah Moore, Hayden Moore, Logan Knight, Theodore Ray, Sunshyne Ray, Kalee Measmer, Anthony Measmer, and Makaela Measmer; and five nieces; and two nephews.

No services are scheduled at this time.

The family will be gathering at 2254 Sandy Springs Road, Harmony.
