Mr. Randy "Ziggy" Worth Hendricks, 69, of Mocksville, passed away on Friday, June 28, 2024, at his home.

He was born July 20, 1954, in Rowan County, to Irene "Wink" Spry Hendricks and to the late Worth Thomas Hendricks. Randy was a member of First United Methodist Church, Mocksville. He graduated from Davie County High School and attended Nashville Auto Diesel College. Randy had been employed by Ingersoll-Rand for 30 years. He loved bluegrass music and enjoyed listening to it at Union Grove. Randy played many different bluegrass instruments and had taught himself to play the mandolin.

Survivors include his mother, of Mocksville; sisters, Kathy Slye of Mocksville and Tamra Kesler (Steve) of Salisbury; special niece, Amanda Slye Harris (Brian); nephew, Zack Kesler (Carly); niece, Brett Kesler; and great-nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m., Monday, July 1, 2024, at First United Methodist Church, Mocksville, with Rev. Lori Anne Bowen and Rev. Hannah Howell officiating. The family invites friends to visit with them in the Family Life Center following the service.
