Phillip Junior Pardue, 90, of Mocksville, peacefully passed away Tuesday, September 30, 2025, at Trinity Elms in Clemmons.

He was born December 26, 1934, in Wilkes County, to the late Vance Cooper and Lelia Soots Pardue.

Phillip loved to go hunting, and listen to his beagle dogs run rabbits. He loved baseball especially his Atlanta Braves.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Shelby Nail Pardue; and siblings, Lester Pardue, Vestal Pardue, Burton Pardue, Ardie Stone, Easter Correll, and Edith Lambert, and R.T. Pardue.

Survivors include his daughter, Lori Pardue Costner (Wes) of Mocksville; two grandchildren, Morgan Costner Darkow (Andrew) of Wake Forest, and Alex Costner of Mocksville; a great-grandchild, Asher Darkow; two siblings, Minnie Sue Padgett of Ronda, and Dickie Pardue (Judy) of Hamptonville; and several nieces and nephews.

A celebration of life will be conducted at 11 a.m., Saturday, October 18, at Lambert Funeral Chapel. The family invites friends to visit with them at the funeral home 30 minutes prior to the service.
