Phillip James Brake, age 38, died August 1st, 2016 at Davie Medical Center. He was born in Warren, OH, and came to North Carolina at age four. He attended UNC-G in Greensboro, and was employed by Webb Heating and Air in Advance. Phillip was a talented artist, he was trained in martial arts, and his greatest passion was his family. He is survived by his wife, Cynthia Devers Brake of their home in Harmony; one son, Simeon K. Brake of the home; three daughters, Alexandra D. Brake, Samantha J. Brake, and Hannah F. Brake, all of the home; his parents, Michael and Kathleen Brake of Mocksville; one brother, Daniel R. Brake of Mocksville; three sisters, Michelle (Hoang) Dang, Natalie Saad, and Kelly Brake, all of Mocksville; a number of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
