Paul Harvey "Cornbread" Cranfill, 70, of Mocksville, died Wednesday, April 23, 2025, at his home.

He was born January 6, 1955, in Davie County. Cornbread had worked at Drexel Heritage, and retired from Ingersoll Rand. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and brother.

He was preceded in death by his father, Ray Sanford Cranfill; mother, Christeen Barneycastle Ireland; stepfather, Jerry Ireland; and a great-granddaughter, Dorothy Marie Taylor.

Survivors include his wife, Delaine Koontz Cranfill; children, Heath Cranfill (Ann), Paula Marin (Isael), Brianna Cranfill (Lakwon), Jim Brown, Ellie Drye (Noah), and Johnny Brown (Lee Ann); sister, Regina Ireland; grandchildren, Brittany Taylor (Chase), Ashlen Drye (Chance), Caleb Drye (Lyndsi), Kody Brown (Brad), Mason Brown, and Lyla Brown; and childhood best friend, Mike Smith (Kathleen).

A celebration of life and covered dish meal will be held at 4 p.m., Saturday, May 10, 2025, at Bear Creek Baptist Church.
