Mrs. Nancy Louvenia Morrison Peebles, 82, of Mocksville, died Tuesday, January 31, 2023, at Liberty Commons of Rowan County.

She was born October 23, 1940, in Iredell County, to the late Foy and Edna Alexander Morrison.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Frank Madison Peebles; and siblings, Vivian Bryant, John A. Frost, Whitfield Frost, and Lewis Frost.

Survivors include her children, Patricia Peebles, Linda Hyde, both of Lexington, James Peebles (Diane) of Salisbury, and Erick Peebles (Jennifer) of Mocksville; a brother, Bobby Frost of Mocksville; 10 grandchildren; and numerous great-grandchildren.

A funeral service will be conducted at 2 p.m., Sunday, February 5, at Lambert Funeral Chapel with Evangelist Alease Taylor officiating. Interment will follow in Mt. Sinai A.M.E. Zion Church Cemetery in Advance. The family will receive friends at the funeral home one hour prior to the service.
