Michael Whitney Watson, 74, of Harmony, died Saturday, November 22, 2025, at Gordon Hospice House in Statesville.

He was born October 10, 1951, in Elmira, NY, to the late Donald R. and Geraldine Whitney Watson. Mr. Watson was a master at flea marketing.

Survivors include his wife, Linda Shaver; a daughter, Heather Watson of Corning, NY; stepchildren, Chris Shaver of Hiram, GA, Nick Shaver of Swan Quarter, NC, Kimberly Benfield of Statesville, NC; sisters, Daria Watson of E. Syracuse, NY, and Desiree Callachor of Colorado Springs, CO; and grandchildren, Dylan Watson, Cody Morris, Jordan Neal, Raven Shaver, Maggie Shaver, Josiah Benfield, Zander Jelliff, and Skylin Benfield.
