Mrs. Melody Lynn Newman Jordan-Wagner, 68, of Harmony, died on Saturday, October 5, 2024 at The Greens at Maple Leaf Nursing Home in Statesville.

She was born April 15,1956, in Gary, IN to the late Earl Lee and Rebecca Jo Garrison Newman.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Ray Lamar Wagner.

She is survived by her son, James Pennington (Kelly); three stepdaughters, Tara Wagner, Thara Wagner, and Mona Call; siblings, Bill Newman, and Sue Balint; a grandchild, Alex Pennington (Cynthia); two great-grandchildren, Mitchell Pennington, and Alexis Pennington.

A graveside service will be conducted at 2 p.m., Saturday, October 12, 2024, at Rose Cemetery, with Pastor John Whalen officiating.
