Marjorie "Margie" Ann Hellard, 79, of Mocksville, died Thursday, October 9, 2025, at Novant Health Forsyth Medical Center in Winston-Salem.

She was born on February 26, 1946, in Davie County, to the late Reuben and Ruth Peacock Hellard. Margie was a member of Turrentine Baptist Church. She had a deep love for animals and cared for them with compassion and kindness.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Joe Hellard and Johnnie Lee Hellard.

Survivors include her sister, Kathy Rogers; three nieces; and one nephew.

A funeral service will be conducted at 2 p.m., Monday, October 13, Turrentine Baptist Church, with Pastor Ken Warner officiating. The family invites friends to visit with them at the church one hour prior to the service. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.
