Malinda Ann Presnell Frye, 73, of Mocksville, died Tuesday, June 23, 2026, at Kate B. Reynolds Hospice Home in Winston-Salem.

She was born on December 8, 1952, in Iredell County, to the late Dan Ulus and Mary Malinda Dwiggins Presnell. Malinda was employed by Burlington Industries and later by Jockey International, where she dedicated many years of service.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Danny Eugene Frye; and stepdaughter, Norma Jean Frye.

Survivors include her husband, Calvin Eugene Frye; a daughter, Ericka Allen (PD); siblings, Glenda Whitt (Richard), and Kathy Anderson; and grandchildren, Cole Allen (Maggie), Carli Summers (Ben), Jeremy Kinton, and April Kinton.

A funeral service will be conducted at 11 a.m., Thursday, June 25, at Lambert Funeral Chapel, with Pastor Frank Blankenship officiating. Interment will follow in Center Methodist Church Cemetery. The family invites friends to visit with them one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
