Master Lucas David Chica, 3, of Statesville, died March 12, 2023, at Brenner Children's Hospital in Winston-Salem.

He was born February 12, 2020, in Iredell County to David Chica and Destiny Lynn McCline.

Survivors include his parents; his grandparents; and many aunts, uncles, and cousins.

A private celebration of life will be held.
