Linda Kay Allen Herion, 72, of Advance, died Friday, October, 9, 2026, at Novant Health Rowan Health Medical Center in Salisbury.

She was born July 31, 1954, in Mecklenburg County, to the late Paul Elkanah and Marga Lennemann Allen.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by spouses, Barry Herion, and John Bailey; childhood brother, Larry Allen; and sister-in-law, Karen Allen.

Survivors include a stepdaughter, Mary Jane Cook (Tracy); four siblings, Donald Allen (Lori), Viola Deal (Gary), Patrick Allen (Michelle), and Michael Allen; and several nieces and nephews and extended family.

A funeral service will be conducted at 2 p.m., Tuesday, October 13, at Lambert Funeral Chapel, with Mr. Tim Dunn officiating. The family invites friends to visit with them at the funeral home, one hour prior to the service. Interment will follow in Cornatzer Methodist Church Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials be considered for Cornatzer Methodist Church, 1244 Cornatzer Road, Mocksville, NC 27028; or Humane Society of Davie, 162 Webb Way, Advance, NC 27006.
