Mrs. Linda Gail Rupard Call, 70,of Mocksville, died Thursday, September 7, 2023, at Kate B. Reynolds Hospice Home, in Winston-Salem.

She was born May 14, 1953, in Iredell County, to General Lee Rupard and Grace Caroline Jarvis. Linda enjoyed quilting, was a member of the FRA Ladies Auxiliary, enjoyed traveling and considered her grandchildren her "pride and joy."

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her siblings, Irene Padgette, Dorothy Baity, Charles Rupard and Ezekiel Rupard.

Survivors include her husband, David Lee Call; children, Crystal Patton and Jennifer Patton Özkurt (Özgür); siblings, Opal Rupard and James Rupard (Norma); and grandchildren, Gabriel Patton, Selvi Özkurt and Daphne Özkurt.

A funeral service will be conducted at 11 a.m., Wednesday, September 13, at Lambert Funeral Chapel with Rev. Joshua Gupton officiating. Interment will follow at Pleasant View Baptist Church Cemetery, Harmony. The family invites friends to visit with them from 6 to 8 p.m., Tuesday, September 12, at Lambert Funeral Home.
