Mr. Larry Wayne Hedrick, 68, died Sunday, October 20, 2019, at Forsyth Medical Center in Winston-Salem. He was born September 15, 1951, in Kanawha County, WV to the late Burton Atley Hedrick, Sr. and Bertye Marie McDonald Hedrick. Mr. Hedrick worked for J.P. Milling. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by five siblings, Virginia Carol Hedrick Sampson, Loretta Jane Hedrick Smith, Nancy Lee Hedrick Griffith, Stella Louise Hedrick and Connie Lane Hedrick Taylor. Survivors include his wife, Linda Lou Isley Hedrick; two sons, Larry Daniel Hedrick (Candy) and Brian Matthew Hedrick (Tonya), all of Mocksville; three siblings, Burton Hedrick, Jr. of Ohio, Otis Ray Hedrick (Linda) of Mocksville and Brenda Kay Hedrick Pauley of Winston-Salem; and four grandchildren, Michael Hedrick, Ethan Hedrick, Clayton Hedrick and Allen Christopher. A funeral service will be conducted at 2 p.m., Friday, October 25, at Bear Creek Baptist Church, with Rev. Greg McEwen officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends at the church one hour prior to the service.
