Obituary

Justin Paul Miller, lovingly called Bubba, 42, of Mocksville, was born in Rowan County, to John Phillip Miller and Connie Jean Torralba on February 2, 1981. He journeyed from Guilford County to his heavenly home in early January 2024.

The family will be receiving friends and loved ones for a celebration of his life from 6 to 9 PM, Friday, February 2, at 1350 Grateful Drive, Woodleaf, North Carolina 27054, in Rowan County.

In 1998, Justin graduated from North Rowan High School with honors and was a North Carolina scholar who received an academic letter of excellence. In 2004, he received an honorable discharge for his service to the United States of America while in the Navy. Justin magnified his talents through construction and was a master of his trade for his career.

He referred to himself as a Soldier for Christ. Justin was known to all as one of the kindest people you would ever meet. He was known to his children as caretaker, hero and provider. Justin had the work ethic of 20 men and would do anything for anyone at any time. He was the call you made in the middle of the night or the middle of the road.

Justin is survived by his son, Justus Caiden Miller; and his daughter, Adonai Cadence Miller. He leaves behind his wife of 18 years, Janelle Lynn Loeffler; his mother, Connie Farrell; his adoptive father, Terry Farrell; his brother, Spencer Farrell; and his younger sister, Sarah Vogler.

Justin is preceded in death by his father, John Phillip; by his maternal grandmother, Francis Shirley; and by many cherished aunts, uncles and cousins.

The family requests that in lieu of flowers, monetary donations be made by those desiring and able. Donations will go towards his children's education and wellbeing.

Obituary lovingly composed by his sister, Sarah Vogler.

For I am not ashamed of the gospel, because it is the power of God that brings salvation to everyone who believes: first to the Jew, then to the Gentile.

Romans 1:16 (NIV).
