Mrs. Judy Lane Summerlin Tanner, 78, of Mocksville, died Monday, April 24, 2023, at Davie Nursing and Rehab.

She was born May 16, 1944, in Beulaville, to the late Joseph Roland and Sannie Lanier Summerlin.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Joyce Ann Davenport.

Survivors include children, Lisa McBride (Jimmy) of Welcome, Jeanette Chavis of Mt. Olive, and David Tanner (Holly) of Mocksville; a sister, Joyce Gautier of Seven Springs; eight grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.

A memorial service will be conducted at 3 p.m., Wednesday, April 26, at Lambert Funeral Chapel.
