Jonathan Matthew Hamner, 41, of Mocksville, died Friday, January 17, 2025.

He was born June 26,1983, in Davidson County.

He was preceded in death by his father, John William Hamner.

Survivors include his wife, Erin Leanne Sherrill Hamner; sons, Cameron Thomas Hamner, and Wade Matthew Hamner; mother, Tamera Louann Ackley White; mother-in-law, Lisa Goodman; siblings, Joshua David Hamner (Nicole), Mellissa Beth Anderson (Josh), and Alexander White;  brother-in-law, Matthew Sherrill; and nephews, Sabashston, Killian, and Draven.

A funeral service will be conducted at 6 p.m., Monday, January 27, at Lambert Funeral Chapel in Mocksville, with Mr. Tim Sloan, Jr. officiating. The family invites friends to visit with them at the funeral home, immediately following the service.
