Jerry Lee Corum, 85, of Mocksville, died Tuesday, March 3, 2026, at Gordon Hospice House in Statesville.

He was born August 4, 1940, in Rockingham County.

He was preceded in death by his father, Samuel Webster Corum; his mother, Valassie Bell Rakes Corum Lee; and in 2021, his wife, Ruby Joan Boger Corum.

Survivors include daughters, Karen Grothen (Cory), Rhonda Taylor (David), and Ann Eaton (Jeff); sisters, Eugenia Corum and Linda Stump; grandchildren, Megan Kauffman (Cody), Mary Beck (Brandon), Zach Eaton (Jordan), and Ally Parsons (Joe); and great-grandchildren, Arthur, Kaylee, Axel, Anders, Aeri, Theo, Hunter, and Jax.

A graveside service will be conducted at 2:30 p.m., Monday, March 9, at Rowan Memorial Park, Salisbury, with Rev. Harry Hatcher officiating. The family invites friends to visit with them from 1 to 1:45 p.m., Monday, March 9, at Lambert Funeral Home.
