Jenny Lynn Joyce, of Mocksville, born September 27, 1974, went home to be with the Lord Thursday, March 6, 2025. She died how she lived, surrounded by love and family. Jenny was a woman of strong faith and was unwavering in her love for her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Even in sickness, Jenny relied on the strength from her beliefs. In the days before she passed, Jenny devoted herself to reading the Bible in its entirety yet again.

Jenny never met a stranger and was as beautiful inside as she was outside. She loved life, whether it was the little things like birds and sunsets or baking cakes for family gatherings and holidays. On sunny days, Jenny loved fishing on the lake with her Daddy, Jerry, and her nieces and nephews. In life, Jenny was the most faithful and loyal friend a person could have. Her motto was "what can I do for you?" She was a warrior who fought for those she loved, when they were looking and when they weren't. Jenny also valued hard work and was an indispensable legal assistant at Penry Terry & Mitchell Law Firm.

Surviving Jenny is her life mate and supporting partner, Jerry Shermer; her daughter and the great joy of her life, Eden Joyce Juarez (Jacob); her father and role model, Michael Joyce and Bonus Mom, Vicky; her mother, Patricia Hernsmith Joyce; two sisters and best friends, Wendy Joyce Terry (Carlton) and Mindy Joyce Johnson; her grandmother, JoAnn Joyce; her beloved nieces and nephews, Charles Terry (Claudia), Erika Terry, Eli Johnson, Emily Johnson, and Merrill Johnson; and her grandnephew, Michael Terry.-Solis; her aunts, Becky Hernsmith Lee (Rick) and Nancye Hernsmith Bright (Jeff); and her uncle, Ronnie Bare.

A private family service will be held at a later date.
