He was born May 7, 1969, in Iredell County.
Jeff was preceded in death by his mother, Sharon Lanette Dillard; a nephew, Aaron Holland.
Survivors include father, Gerald Bruce Thorne; siblings, Sandra Jean Thorne, and Randy Thorne; nephew, Steven Smith; and nieces, Elizabeth Thorne, and Sarah Thorne.
