Janie Maxine "Mac" Riley Hendrix, 90, Formally of Advance, passed away Thursday, December 4, 2025, at Clemmons Village II Assisted Living in Clemmons.

She was born June 1, 1935, in Yadkin County, to the late William Lester and Louisa Belle Cass Riley.

She was a member of Fork Baptist Church. Mac had a wonderful relationship with her in-laws. She enjoyed cooking, sewing, and watching the hummingbirds. She was also a beautician for over 30 years.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, George "Vance" Hendrix; a sister, Mildred Beauchamp; and a brother-in-law, Wade Beauchamp.

Survivors include her siblings, Wilma Lou Gregory (Melvin), and Gary Riley (Sandy); and many loving nieces and nephews.

A graveside service will be held on Monday, December 8, 2025, at 2 p.m. at Fork Baptist Church Cemetery, with Mr. Jeff Seagle officiating. The family will receive friends in the fellowship hall, immediately following the service.
