Janet Cheryl Greene, was born on August 8, 1948, to the late William Page and the late Edith Yeager. She grew up in Barberton, Ohio, and had lived in North Carolina for the past twenty-five years. Before her health declined, she worked as a machinist at a manufacturing company. She loved spending time with her family and her dogs, Buster, Daisy, and Hershey. Ms. Greene loved God with all her heart and faithfully served Him. She faithfully attended Shema Israel Congregation in Mocksville until her health declined. She brought a smile to all who knew her, and was truly a blessing. She will be truly missed. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one grandson, Justin Hill. On July 4, 2013, she died at Wake Forest University Medical Center in Winston-Salem. She is survived by three children, Bryan Linger, Marie Hill and fiance Greg Franklin , and Betty Buchanan; her step-mother, Wanda Page; two brothers, Bob Page and David Page; one sister, Donna P. Tompkin; special relatives, Jody and Paula Godfrey; nine grandchildren, Chris Hill, Liz Hill, Amber Hill, John Hill, Jessica Hill, Jamie Linger, Joseph Godfrey, Sarah Godfrey, and Sonni Jo Hartley.
