WILLIAMS SALISBURY – James Matthew Williams, 48, died Thursday, March 3, 2022. He was born November 5, 1973, in Davie County. James loved to fish, working with his hands, and working on cars. He was a friend to all he met. He was preceded in death by his mother, Trudy Lane Smith McDaniel; and a brother, Tony Williams. Survivors include his father, Wayne Anderson Williams, Sr.; stepmother, Judy Williams; fiancé, Shannon Hill, and their son, Austin Williams; son, Waylen Williams; brother, Andy Williams; and several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.
