James Henry Campbell, 85, died April 26 in Piney Grove Nursing Home in Kernersville. He retired from R.J. Reynolds Tobacco Company and was a member of St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church. He is survived by his wife, Loretta McMillan Campbell of the home; four sons, Curtis Campbell of Denton, NC, Henry M. (Yvette) Campbell of Jonesville, Ronald (Lisa) Campbell of Kernersville, and William (Aileen) Lynch of Winston-Salem; three daughters, Tahnya Bowser and Stefani L. Jarrett of Winston-Salem, and Patricia Hairston of Raleigh, NC; 17 grandchildren, two of whom he raised from infancy, Dr. Iyam Lynch and Ishun 'Ike' Lynch; 13 great-grandchildren; one sister-in-law, Connie Campbell of Advance.
