James "Michael" Blevins, 70, of Yadkinville,  died Wednesday, November 26, 2025, at Hugh Chatham Memorial Hospital in Elkin.

He was born June 8, 1955, in Surry County. Michael was a member of Gospel Way Baptist Church. He loved working on lawn mowers, and was an all-American man.

He was preceded in death by his father, James Fred Blevins.

He is survived by his wife, Betty Jean Johnson Blevins; his mother, Lessie Church Blevins; children, James Anthony Blevins (Pamela Parent), Carol Blevins Robinette (Allen), and Jeremy William Blevins; a sister, Cynthia Stroud; and grandchildren, Heaven Robinette, Autumn Robinette, James Robinette, Jr., Mary Robinette, Grayson Michael Larry Blevins, and Zachary James Blevins.

A funeral service will be conducted at 2 p.m., Sunday, December 7, at Lambert Funeral Chapel, Mocksville, with Pastor Ted Cook officiating. Interment will follow in the Gospel Way Baptist Church Cemetery, Yadkinville. The family invites friends to visit with them from 6 – 8 p.m., Saturday, December 6, at Lambert Funeral Home, Mocksville.
