MCPHERSON MOCKSVILLE – Mr. Isaac McPherson, Jr., 84, died Saturday, January 22, 2022, at Willowbrook Rehab & Care Center in Yadkinville. He was born March 7, 1937, in Garnett, SC, to the late Isaac McPherson, Sr. and Mary Ficklin McPherson. Mr. McPherson had worked for Reddy Raw Trucking Co. in NJ, for over 50 years. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Esther Mae Pinckney McPherson. Survivors include three children, Clinton McPherson (Cheryl), Isaac McPherson, and Sharon McPherson; one brother, Emmett; two sisters, Retha Mae and Jannie Louise; nine granddaughters, Tawana, Demetria, Danielle, Alexis, Sheena, Shabrina, Sharee, Shantelle, and Skyler; nine grandsons, Clinton II, Tyrone, Isaiah, Devin, Donovan, Daniel, Donte, DeAndre, and Dezmin; and 12 great-grandchildren, Shaniah, Messiah, Sophia, Elijah, Payton, Marquis, Makhai, Michael Jr, Tykeria, Lydell, Paisley, and Ava. A funeral service will be conducted at 2 p.m., Saturday, January 29, at Fairfield Baptist Church with Rev. J. J. Rice officiating. Interment will follow in Rose Cemetery.
