Hattie Mae Sizemore, 91, was born April 27, 1923, daughter of the late Will and Emma Reavis Clore. She was one of nine siblings. Hattie worked as a seamstress, and loved to can vegetables and sew. She made quilts for her family members and clothing for her dog. She was a loving, caring lady who made her home in Mocksville for the past fifty five years. Her husband, Thomas Sizemore, preceded her in death in 1979. On March 10, she died at the home of her daughter in Weaverville, where she had lived for the past seven months. She is survived by one daughter, Mary Trejo of Weaverville; one brother, James Clore of Mocksville; three grandchildren; six great-grandchildren.
